The TOEFL iBT Test, administered via the internet, is an important part of your journey to study in an English speaking country. TOEFL is registered trademark of education testing service and it is administered worldwide. It is a mandatory test to be taken for admission to any course in the USA and Canada. It testifies the fluency of your reading, writing, speaking, and listening ability and the integrated use of these skills to perform academic task. Wide range of colleges, agencies and other institution in over 130 countries accept TOEFL scores. You can retake the test as many times as you wish but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-days period. The Internet Based Test (TOEFL IBT) course is conducted in many test centers in Nepal, among them our facility is the oldest and best one.

In this section you will have to read several passages. Each one is followed by a number of question and you have to choose one best answer among A, B, C, D alternative. On average the length of a passage is about 700 words. Typically you will have 3 reading passages which will have 12-14 questions that you need to answer for each passage. Each passage is timed separately. IF you get 3 passages, the total time allowed is 60 minutes. The reading section can have up to 5 passages with a total of 70 questions with total time of 100 minutes.
There are two writing tasks on TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT).
Task 1: The Reading-Listening-writing Integrated Task
Students are given some time (normally 3 minutes) to read passage on computer screen. They can take notes if they want and then they listen to a lecture and are allowed to take notes during the lecture time. The reading passage then reappears along with a question and students are given 20 minutes to responses. The reading passage remains on screen and student can use their notes. The students are asked to give an answer in an organized and well–written way, based on the information in the passage you read and short lecture you heard. Students are made aware before exam that “this writing task in not asking for your opinion”.
Task 2: Independent Writing Task (Essay Writing)
In this section, students are required to plan, write and revise their essay within 30 minutes of limited time. Typically, an effective essay should contain a minimum of 300 words.
Listening comprehension tests your ability to understand both short and long conversation in English. This section contains recorded material and student are supposed to tick correct answer on the basis of recorded information they hear. There are three parts in this section. Remember that you are not allowed to take any note in this section and the conversation and question will not be repeated
Part A:
In part A, students will be hearing short conversations between two people. After each conversation, they will hear a question about the conversation and they have to choose the best answer on the basis of information that they hear.
Part B:
In this part, students will be hearing long conversation. After each conversation, students will hear question and they are supposed to choose best answer on the basis of information that they hear
Part C: IN this part of the test, students will hear several talks. After each talk, students will hear some question and they have to choose the best answer.
